WTK: Need advise on Can for Rem700

I am about to jump into the Class 3 world. I have decided to get a can for my Remy 700 Police in .308 W/26"Bbl. I have travelled far to this Mecca of information on the Class 3 world. I seek your wisdom and guidance.

What are the best manufacturers and models? What length should I have the barrel cut to? QD or threaded?
