WTK: Maybe a stupid question...

Hello all,

First off, I'm not totally new to NFA weapons as I own a Mac11 9mm and a full-size Uzi and several cans.... but please NO FLAMES to my question as I think it is a valid one.

Is there any way to deal with the ATF and buy a FNC sear, transfer registration of the serial number to a HK sear and destroy the FNC one? They are so cheap and the HK ones are so expensive! I know, this will destroy the value of the HK ones. (waaaa, cry some more) I just was wondering about this as I'm just a poor shooter still chasing the HK sear prices. I also understand that if it was this easy, everyone would have done it. Just kicking the question out there for an answer.
