Here is a taste of what is in store for the Tippmann Arms Company in the near future. We have prototyped a carbine belt fed in 22 LR. The barrel length is 16.25" and the over all length of the rifle is 35.5". The entire firearm weighs just under 8 pounds with the Harris bipod attached (optional). It is fed by a pre-ban cloth belt that can be reloaded time after time. This is not an assault rifle by federal standards as it has NO threaded muzzle, flash hider, pistol grip, bayonet lug or a folding/telescoping stock. This can be transferred to a regular FFL dealer as a sporting rifle no differently than a common Ruger 10/22 you could buy at Walmart.
****NOTE, These are semi-auto and are able to be owned by anyone. I am able to make post May 1986 samples for law enforcement agencies or class 3 dealers if requested. (demo letter needed to start transfer)
Since this is a prototype, we are looking for a name for it and would love to here your suggestions for a name. Contact us ASAP with your general name suggestions and opinions of what you think of this new idea. We are very open to any option of improvement and accessories you might have in mind for this gun. If the response is positive on this firearm we will proceed with a production model and run a small batch of 25 units. If you wish to be considered for this first run, drop me an e-mail and get yours reserved. I will need a deposit if an order is placed. A solid price is unknown at this time and a final production model configuration is not certain. If there are enough requests for modifications, we will have to figure that into the final price...............Let me know what you fellas think!!...
The link has 8 pics of the unit from all angles.
Thanks......ERIC
